After two years of serving Ohio as the Superintendent of Ohio schools, Richard Ross will retire from the education world.

Ross retired as Superintendent of Reynoldsburg City Schools prior to becoming the Chief of Ohio schools in 2013.  Under his tenure as Chief, Ross helped expand access to career-technical education.  With his leadership, Ohio has also given more opportunities to high school students to earn college credit and meet graduation requirements.

“Ross has been a true champion for students,” Gov. Kasich said in support of Richard Ross.  Ross is scheduled to retire on December 31.
