Gov. John Kasich signed the charter reform bill into law this past Sunday.

Charter schools educate more than 120,000 of Ohio’s students.  The new law, which takes effect in 90 days, brings more transparency to charter schools.  Clearer rules and accountability measures will also be placed on the schools.  Reform “goes a long way toward ensuring that students in all schools have a chance to achieve their full potential,” said Kasich spokesman Jim Lynch.
